Major UK housebuilders sign up with Hometech
HOMETECH SECURES ADDITIONAL BLUE CHIP CLIENTS
Hometech, the Sussex home technology company, continues to build on previous successes with the commitment of housebuilder Howard Holdings to fit Hometech technology to all apartments at two ground breaking projects, both part of the extensive Croydon redevelopment project. This brings the value of contracts Hometech have won this financial year to almost 1 million GBP.
The contract is to provide concealed structured cabling to 196 apartments and penthouses at The Exchange, a conversion of the old telephone Exchange and Altitude 25, a 25-storey new build landmark building. The 'intelligent' structured cabling enables homeowners to access telephones, broadband and television in each room as well as upgrade to music and home cinema.
Hometech is the UK's leading home technology provider with a high profile client list including Antler Homes, The Manhattan Loft Corporation, The Gladedale Group and Croudace Homes. The systems ensure each home is future proofed allowing not only current technology such as an iPod, digital camera or even a laptop to be integrated into the system but also new and emerging technologies. Developers recognise the added value, the ever increasing demand from customers and the clear market differential which all contribute to faster sales.
Paul Benson, Sales Manager, said: "We're delighted by the endorsement of Howard Holdings and in addition to residential developers we continue to retain a significant private client base. Individuals who wish to retrofit existing houses or self builders who want the same levels of luxury technology as is being offered by the leading house builders, continue to invest in their homes. To that end we've taken a permanent stand at the recently launched National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon".
The purpose built 67,000sqft Centre offers a one stop shop with over 250 product suppliers on display as well as a Renovation Zone, educational demonstrations and a life sized showhome.
Paul added "Our stand had to demonstrate what we do best; provide customers with the wow factor, therefore we made it interactive giving visitors the opportunity to experience the impact of our technology at first hand. The interest generated for Hometech has been phenomenal with over 150 enquiries in the first month."
