HOMETECH UNVEIL APPLE TV AT ANTLER'S NEW SHOWHOME
Hometech, the UK's leader in integrated home technology, is showcasing the newly launched Apple TV at Antler Homes' impressive development in Kenley, Surrey.
An exclusive private viewing at the Foxley Wood showhome saw property industry experts get a first glimpse of the capabilities of the Apple TV, which is tipped as being ‘the next big thing' in smart technology.
The showhome at Foxley Wood has become the first in the UK to install Apple TV, which provides additional home technology solutions for homebuyers.
Put simply, Apple TV streams all digital media from an iPod, such as music, Podcasts, photos and iTunes, and makes it available to enjoy on TV.
Kirstin Anderson, Hometech's Sales and Marketing Manager said: "Apple TV opens up a whole new level of home integration. Our customers have previously been able to integrate their iPod into a Hometech system and listen to their music throughout the home. This additional convenience and functionality now completes the package and makes our systems increasingly desirable. Discreet, functional and fun we think Apple TV will continue to be a big hit with homebuyers, and due to customer demand we're considering installing it as standard in all of our Showhomes."
"Smart technology for the home is rapidly becoming the norm and a recent article in the Sunday Times estimated that homes with technology fitted could command 30% higher values than those without. Not only this, homeowners can also save up to 50% on energy costs with our heating and lighting control system*."
Hometech supplies technology solutions to major house builders throughout the UK. Other projects include the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station by Parkview International, the conversion of Howard Holdings ‘The Exchange' in Croydon and the Gladedale Group's ‘Quartermile' development in Edinburgh.
