The course 'Designing Integrated Future Ready Homes' aims to provide an insight into the changes that have been happening to technology within a built space. The course will provide an understanding of the basic techniques and terminology; to reveal what is possible in home electronic design specifically. Although the course is centred on the residential market these technologies have been well integrated into a commercial/healthcare environment.
Here is a basic outline of the course;

- Subsystems - looking at their design, wiring topology and installation
- Music
- Television and Video
- Home Cinema
- Telephone
- Internet and Data
- Security
- Lighting Control
- Heating and Cooling
- Energy Efficiency
- Integration - how these systems above are all linked together to add value
- We will provide case study examples weaved within the above to understand effectively how these systems work within a built space
- You will leave the course with an increased vocabulary, an inkling of what is possible, the basics of how systems work and when to consider such technologies for your clients (and also who to call!)
