Hometech recommend installing a secure wired platform at all times. Purely wireless is only ever recommended when a wired solution is not an option i.e. outdoor areas and historical buildings.  This is because the disadvantages such as interference, poor signal strength and security issues means that it can't be relied upon to form a secure backbone infrastructure to a property. 

A combination of wired and wireless components is the best solution for Hometech customers whereby a touch screen remote controller or wireless games controller can sit on top of the wired topology.
